big fan of super system, with the caveat that you must actually read/understand the entire chapter. there have been 100 million posts on here that started with "so I read super system, and I'm betting every flop like doyle says...."

I think "Super System" is the best. I always get better results after rereading it. I have seen criticism that the LAG stuff doesn't work in loose games. Well it is oriented towards big games with decent players, and he tells you not to play loose in loose games.

I think the biggest strength of "Super System" is the analysis of how to play certain starting hands and certain flops.

I know HOH is designed for tournaments. However, volume 1 and the first chapter of volume 2 deal with deep stack play, which is not that different from cash games.

When I first read Reuben/Ciaffone, I didn't think there was much in it. However, rereading it, I have a different view. The information is subtly buried within. I was kind of suprised it took first.

I haven't seen a clear writein choice, so I think my 3 choices were the right ones.
