I would not raise if I knew BB was folding. Everyone is referenceing "putting myself in this spot" or something like that; how bad is this spot? Do you guys really think I'm regularly getting 3 bet by worse hands? I don't understand if you do, and if you don't I lose just as much as I would by calling down.

You're missing the fact that he can "make a play" with a legitimate hand that you're not that far behind while at the same time not realizing it.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think he has 2 pair.

If I had 2 pair I would 3bet or cap anyone on this turn who 3bet or capped preflop, this isn't that advanced of a play, and even nits (me) are capable of doing it.

If he has 2 pair you have 8 outs to chop, and 8 to win.
If he has a set you have 8 outs to chop, 2 to win.
if he has a straight you have about 3.x~ outs to chop.

I think I can peel 1 here.

Evan,

That's true. And I basically agree with what you're saying. But certainly seeing the river card/showdown with QQ here has some value...also for the same cost.

I think you played the hand extremely well up to the turn fold, if that's any consolation.

No, but I think you could get three-bet by a set and you essentially have six outs in that case (eight outs to a chop, two outs to a win). It sucks to put in two bets and then fold without seeing the river when you could have put in one bet and gotten the chance to draw to a six outer.

I think this is an easy fold. I really cannot see to many people bluff bet/3 betting on a board like this. I think the best spot u are in is if he has like 2 pair, and u have outs to counterfeit them. I fold this everytime with no read
