I didn't get it, but for some reason lots of kids were always really eager to go to that house. They were even disappointed one year when he actually gave out candy. I like most candy but some houses always give out stuff that appeal to only a small unique group of people.
e.g- Reese's PB cup Snickers Hershey chocolate bar M&M's Butter Finger Gummy bears Sour Patch kids caramel apple pops I for one like houses that give out fruit that's fresh and easy to eat, who doesn't like a green apple? Black licorice has a nice smell to it, no other candy is like it. I don't like pennies but nickels are cool if you save them up ( for fresh fruit!). Wax stuff is cool, especially the fruit juice filled wax. When you're done drinking your treat you can tell your friends you were a glutton and drank 20 bottles of juice! (but you didn't, they were small sized wax bottles).
