Sorry for the confusion.

No problem. I really want to discuss the ideas. I do not feel I am the expert. I am only expressing my personal thoughts to share and learn.

I don't know if bakku actually had a backdoor flush draw. I couldn't remember the suits on the flop.

Good 15/30 game. Loose/aggressive SB, bakku is UTG, cold callers are loose/passive.

Preflop: I am BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
bakku raises UTG, three cold callers, the SB calls and I call.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Checked around.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB bets, I

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd raise intending to FSD UI or bet with improvement.

4. Raising the turn here is really, really, really bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have to disagree with you here. I think this is a very good spot for a semi-bluff turn raise. You might get better hands (weak tens, A6, etc.) to fold, plus you have 8 clean straight outs plus 5 outs to 2 pair & trips (the 2 pair might not be clean due to it putting a straight out there). If it narrows the field to heads-up, your equity skyrockets. Also, SB might have been betting nonsense because the flop was checked through -- or he could have whiffed a flop checkraise. Even if it's the latter, our outs (at least the double-gutted ones) are still clean against a flopped set/2-pair.

I'd lead out and hope he'd raise with AKo to thin the field. I'd check/call the turn and probably fold the river UI because he'd have to be firing 3 bluff bullets to win.

Not everyone will do that with someone they know and respect who led the flop and called the turn with most likely a piece of it.

Just call the turn.

Bakku betting this flop would be spewing in these games.
