I miss Madeleine Khan. It's too bad she died so young and we didn't get a chance to see a lot more of her before she went.

Terri Garr never looked better. Strangely, she never even looked remotely close to that good again. My guess is she went in for some pretty hard core partying after that movie. She looked like she had alcoholic dementia on a lot of interview shows.

I think Teri Garr looked pretty good in Mr. Mom and Tootsie. She was well into her thirties then but still had it together!

I'm actually watching Young Frankenstein right now on DVD.

Teri Garr = "Voof!"

Same here! Marty Feldman as Igor is out of this world. e.g.

[/ QUOTE ]

Remember when Igo says to Dr. Frankenstein "Walk this way..." and he just follows. Igor meant walk stooped over with a shuffle step

Anyway, that scene inspired Aeosmith's song "Walk This Way".

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you telling me that scene inspired the following words?

Backstroke lover always hidin' 'neath the covers
Can I talk to ya my daddy said
Said you aint seen nothin til your down on a muffin
and you sure to be a changin' your ways

I met a cheerleader, was a real young bleeder
Ah, the times I could reminisce
'Cause the best things in lovin'
with her sister and her cousin
only started with a little kiss
like this...

That's quite a stretch.

They used the phrase in the song (and obviously the title). They were fans of the movie and thought that scene was the funniest.

Yea I've read that a couple different places as well. The lyrics had been mostly written (at one point in a stairwell) and during one of the rehersal breaks or something they went to see it and wanted at least the title to draw from Mel Brooks. I don't think the lyrics were inspired by the film, but it's generally accepted that's where the title is from.
