Re: Easy pf question
If SB were standing up to him wouldn't he be raising here?

Re: Easy pf question
well, SB's hanging around anyway. Most 1/2 tables I frequent are full of players that know nothing of blind defense.
I would have called w/A9, and either raised or called w AT |

Re: Easy pf question
I play six-handed once in a while, and my play is a fold in this spot, with raising a close 2nd depending on the type of player the button is - the button, even if he is stealing - has position on us. If he does have a hand, A-6 is in a heap of trouble. Plus w/ the SB showing interest, we now have to beat two players. I do not want to be a caller in this spot - you must either threebet and take the lead on the flop, or fold. I find in this spot that raising simply does not drive out either player - and sometimes you will be capped, miss the flop, and lose extra bets. Be the aggressor w/ A-6 in position - save the bet while out of position.

Re: Easy pf question
This is highly dependent on the button's range... 10% pfr easy fold, 20% pfr easy call.
Edit: Interesting note from Victor on ColdWorldBG's 10/20 video: [ QUOTE ] 9:40. button raises (34/10), sb calls and you call with a6o. i would fold. hu, i would call tho. against laggier buttons i would call as well despite the sb. [/ QUOTE ] |
