I don't think so. but if you're not real early that day you may end up as an alternate. I don't believe they will turn anyone away.

When you say "real early" you mean...like 7? 6?

If I get there at 6 and play for a few hours, there'll be plenty of tables to play at (like 200 max NL, 5/10 etc) before reg starts...right?

Does anyone have a guess as to whether there'll be enough of a player base to spread a 75/150 or bigger mixed game this weekend? Or do I need to wait till next week when the tournament officially gets going?

I hope I am at one of your tables Toro! Maybe this time it will be me you re-raise a $1200 bet all-in for another $125 on a bluff.

I'm just busting you, but I do hope to run into you - preferably at a much, much later table.

Actually, it seems like there will be a decent # of 2+2ers showing up early for the $500 - maybe we should set up a meeting point? Unless you guys plan on playing cash games beforehand...but I am going to just hang around after registration until the tourney starts.

Since I've never been there and don't know the "lay of the land" I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'd like to get as much table time in as possible, but I'd like to get together to meet some of y'all too.
