Re: Poker sites prediction...
Party use play money players in their stats too, though I certainly agree that there're more play money players on Stars than Party. The RM players on Stars are also lower limit, on average.
I dunno how you're adding the totals up, it's very hard to do - what if someone's at 8 tables at once? What if they're in SNG, MTT and a ring game? You'd need to be able to search for every player at once. I'll avoid replying to the other criticisms of the site, you're entitled to your opinion. |

Enough is enough. Stars sucks. [/ QUOTE ] Then again, you hate everything. [ QUOTE ] They use play money players in their totals and Party doesn't. [/ QUOTE ] If you had actually read this thread, you'll find that this has already been proven to be wrong. Thanks for playing though. [ QUOTE ] I don't know anyone who likes playing on that site. [/ QUOTE ] You know, there's this place called 2+2, where I'm sure if you read a bunch of posts, you'll find lots of people who like playing at Stars. I'll start. Nice to meet ya. Now you know one person. |

[ QUOTE ] $0.02/$0.04 tables: Party 0, Stars 30 $0.05/$0.10 tables: Party 0, Stars 32 $0.25/$0.50 tables: Party 2, Stars 35 [/ QUOTE ] I would like to see stars get rid of these nano-limit tables . More than likely, these people will happily play .50/1 if that were the lowest available table. Maybe I'm wrong? [/ QUOTE ] I wish they'd get rid of them, too. Actually, I like Party's set up where you can play the nano's for 45 days and then you need to move up. It makes for softer games when the fish aren't all clustered around the penny tables. I think casual players would also be attacted to a bonus that you could clear more easily at lower limits. |

Re: Poker sites prediction...
i gotta aggree with timer. I play at stars to clear bonuses. their software is great, but I can't stand their interface. Their games are good, but party's are great. I agree that the nano limits entice new players to real money accounts, but party does this much better. It sucks in the pond fish, gives them awul habits, then throws them in the big lake after a month and a half..

Re: Poker sites prediction...
just in general it is an annoying interface. the buttons, the colors, the way the chips and cards look, the shape of the tables. I will say their software is amazing, probably the best in the industry, but it is ugly to look at. gives me a headache and throws me off my game.

Re: Poker sites prediction...
Take a look in the software forum for plenty of threads on changing the look of the tables/cards/etc at any of the major poker sites!
There is no reason to stare at a screen you don't enjoy! |
