Re: If you could go anywhere in history...
I think the Jesus answer is pretty good. If I was coming back I'd go for that one.
The cheap and easy answer is to go back to the early 70's and make bank betting on sports. I think early-20th century Vienna might be good. I could try and get Hitler into art school. I'd really like to see what some American Indian societies were like around the time the white man showed up. I might have to say continental Europe in the 1820 - 1840 range. Meet Hegel, Chopin, see if I could hang around long enough to catch Nietzsche. NT |

As an added bonus, the look on the guys face as you purchase the Econo-sized box of 144 condoms before your "trip" would be priceless. Cody [/ QUOTE ] hahahaha. Condoms... good one. |

Re: If you could go anywhere in history...
How about going back and being the guy who saved JFKs life, apprehended the killer, or some other time and make yourself the hero. Maybe 9/11 and wait for those guys at Logan. Youd get a lot of press, not to mention the ass factor.

Re: If you could go anywhere in history...
Marty McFly: 'Cubs win world series against Miami'?
Old Terry: Yeah. Who would've thought? 100 to 1 shot! I wish I could go back to the beginning of the season, put some money on the Cubs. Marty McFly: I just meant Miami-... what did you just say? Old Terry: I said I wish I could go back to the beginning of the season, put some money on the Cubbies! |

I'd go back to the Garden of Eden and make damned sure Eve kept her ass away from that friggin' tree. And I'd take along a lot of pencils and paper so people could write stuff down and eliminate a helluva lot of questions I've got!
