Holy cow. With no read? At the lower stakes like $25NL and $50NL 6max, this bet after calling a preflop raise usually means an Ace.

By 'no particular read' I meant he seems like a typical shortstack.

I think this is fine. He'll check the turn quite a bit here after you call and the pot is yours.

I'd like to say with someone that low on chips I'd expect them to CR the flop all in if they had an ace.

looks like how I would play it if I had decided to call on the flop, which I sometimes do. That's probably bad news for you, my friend

I don't really like the flop call. You have no read, and generally speaking a guy sitting with $100 at a $400 NL table probably isn't the best canidate for a bluff. I understand your thought process (he's leading into me for a half pot bet on a weak flop and could easily just be thinking that the flop probably missed me.) Still, I say you give it up this time and make a note on him. River check is good... he's not folding an ace here. I wouldn't raise the turn with no read and Villain's short stack.

Villain is very unusual. I still hate your flop call.

Yessir. Most villains here have a weak ace. I promise you.

No... most of them check-call.
