I have lost flopped straights to rivered 4-flushes or boats way more than I have lost them to made (flopped) flushes in this situation.

Bet the flop, get the value. Slow down on turn when it's reasonably likely you could be beat.

Losing this hand is not a leak. Giving a free card to a hand that would beat you would be.
