What if one has one of those little micro-umbrellas, which are great for fitting in shoulder bags and briefcases and the like when travelling to/from work, but do not stand up to the likes of the intimidating oversized golf umbrella? Surely this is a no-win situation?

I believe jake has hit the right answer. The person closest to the street should be the one to yield. Thanks to all.

This is why I will not endorse the umbrella and suggest that the masses invest in hoods and hats.

This is why I will not endorse the umbrella and suggest that the masses invest in hoods and hats. [/ QUOTE ] I 100% agree with this. I HATE umbrellas. The worst is when you take one inside a restaurant or store and you have to be careful with it cause buckets of water are poruing off it onto everything around you. Id rather be wet than carry a goddamn umbrella. While Im ranting, let me also say that I cant stand it when people with those huge [censored] golf umbrellas open them up in tight spaces like subway exits. |
