[/ QUOTE ] Hi Grunch, I normally consider it trash as well, but this is a 6 max table with one limper and everyone else folding so I thought this might actually be the best hand PF. I didn't think about an isolation raise because its only one more to the BB making it somewhat likely he'll call, and I'm OOP on the flop. Are you saying that you raise PF here and it is then much more likely that when you bet the flop you get both villains to fold?

It is actually true that my constant pressure in situations like this cause people to make plays they otherwise wouldn't. In other words, according to Schoonmaker's definition, they go on tilt. That's +EV for me, and it is a factor in my deciding whether or not to isolate. Now I've blown some of my advantage in a 2+2 private game. Hope nobody's reading this thread.
