Fortunately, the people of Louisiana have replaced their governor with a more competent governor. They did, didn't they?
And the mayor of NO is trying to rush people to return to NO, because if Rita hits and NO floods again, where better to have all the people than in NO?

I think the bird flu is the odds-on bet to wipe out a large amount of people world-wide.
My bet on massive population reduction will be some new artificially created toxin introduced into water supplies. People with weak immune systems will perish. Pure Darwinian surival. Goodbye Third World and many industrial populations too. Bird flu, mad cow disease and hurricanes are not strong enough. The AIDs experiment worked well. Now it's showtime. The "Elites'" desire to reduce the world's population (of "useless eaters")by half has been well-known for many years.
