[ QUOTE ] hmm, i dont understand, you tell me to either limp or fold, isnt that what im doing? heh [/ QUOTE ] No, you have to either alwyas limp or always fold. If you always fold you lose nothing. And let's say that if you will win 10% of the time when you limp. If you only limp 70% of the time, you will only win 7% of the time. [/ QUOTE ] Are you not considering table conditions and your opponents? |

[/ QUOTE ] Exactly, why must i ALLWAYS call or ALLWAYS fold, sometimes tables is tight agressive and then its not very good to limp with small pockets in EP |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] 1. How do you play AQo EP ? 2. AJo in EP? 3. AJo in MP 1 limper 4. pocket 2 to pocket 6 in EP 1. Raise 2. Call, sometimes fold 3. Call 4. Call 70%, Fold 30% [/ QUOTE ] I hope you realize that folding PP up front 30% of the time is idiotic. Either limp bcause its +EV or just fold. [/ QUOTE ] hmm, i dont understand, you tell me to either limp or fold, isnt that what im doing? heh Reason why im folding sometimes is when table is tight and also i remember reading that you shouldnt play low pocket pairs from EP. But maybe that was limit... [/ QUOTE ] Your post made it seem like you were talking about within the same game. Just for the record, folding a +EV hand is never "mixing it up". It's just stupid. [/ QUOTE ] Well then i guess im stupid... As i said all tables arent allways the same, if its tight agressive its not very good to limp with small pocket pairs |

NO! Don't play drawing hands in early position. Axs is often awful even in late position if there aren't enough limpers. Look for reasons not to play hands in SSNL rather than reasons to play them. Ryan [/ QUOTE ] yup, right now i only play Axs if there is some limpers |

I limp all of them full ring (I sometimes raise AJ in MP agasint a loose limper). In 6 max I raise the first three and usually limp (raise about 30 % of the time) the small pocket UTG and UTG + 1 .

1. Raise AQo normally about 4x BB in EP.
2. Fold AJo in EP, sometimes raise if I have reads on the table. 3. Raise if I think I can buy the button AND depending on the limper, how often they go to showdown etc... 4. Call, UNLESS the table is aggressive and a lot of pre-flop raising I will play if I believe I have a high chance of seeing a flop. |

AQ sucks early.
If you limp it, people often raise behind and then you can't really call without getting yourself in trouble. If you raise it and you get reraised, you have to fold. If you raise it and anyone behind you calls, you're playing a big pot OOP with (let's face it) a bad hand. Ryan Yeah my VPIP is low but I do raise a lot more hands in late position, depending on many factors. |
