Another group just thinks that a computer-shuffled deck always comes out kinda funny or 'less random' than a hand-shuffled deck. The cards just aren't as true (supposedly) no matter their honest intentions.
They'll always say some nonsense like "See....you could just TELL that the flush-draw was going to hit for him...because that's how it always happens online and you can just FEEL when it's coming. It's obvious that the draws hit more frequently online than they do in a REAL card room."

Of course this independent organization would be outsourced to India. There will be 100,000 Indians shuffling real decks and digitizing them 24-7.

Its a decent idea. It might be a solution. I suspect it probably is a reason why some people dont play online.

My problem with it is that people will worry that the decks have been hacked or leaked out to players if you did this. Wouldn't audits and certification from a gaming commission be a better solution? Then you could hopefully address a host of other issues, like collusion, bots, unfair software aids, site fraud, etc.

If the growth is so high, why has party been stuck at 70-80K since April?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because their market share is slowing falling as people find better, or at least other, options (right now, mainly PokerStars).
