I would probably bet out on the flop, because after checking if your opponent bets, it's unpleasant to move allin with just 76o here. If your opponent raises you after your bet, then decide what to do based on the size of their raise. If you make it say 900, and they make it 2200 or so, you can consider moving allin. If they make it a more pot committing 3500, then I'd likely just let the hand go.

If you had 5000-6000 chips, it would change my play as your check raise allin isnt suddenly a huge overbet, and because you don't want to bet out in that spot and fold to a raise.

Anyway I think what you did is okay, but it's not what I'd do. I don't want to manipulate the betting in such a way that I am putting all my chips in on the flop with just one raise, while there is only 2000-2500 chips in the pot (I give this range of numbers because I don't know when I check whether he will bet around 700-1300).

why are you in a terrible spot? You can lead the turn again for about half the pot, you can check call a small-medium size bet, or you can check fold to a big bet. You have 3 viable options, which one I'd take is player dependent, but the pot is still relatively small compared to your stack and you have lots of room to play.

i'd fold pre-flop. if i thought this were the kind of guy who'd fold to a reraise, i might reraise, but i would very rarely call.

i think it's pretty standard with 76o or 76c once you check and he bets that big. you're in a much trickier spot if he bets a more normal 800-900. then the c/r a-i is looking pretty gigantic.

For me this preflop call is automatic. 76s has many different ways to win and is often a well concealed hand.

I can't imagine folding it in the BB to a minraise.

I think most people who recommend folding preflop are talking about 76o

How bad are you if he has AcKc vs your 7c6c?

Board: 9c 8c 4h
Dead:
equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 43.3333 % 43.33% 00.00% { 7c6c }
Hand 2: 56.6667 % 56.67% 00.00% { AcKc }

why the random AKc comment?

Is it random?

I'm reading the advice here to mostly push, granted 67s is a monster draw...but isn't it possible that he could have the AKs which negates your flush draw?

Maybe he made the small raise from the CO with this hand to get some action?

Thanks for the stats. Hope this makes the random question make sense.

Why not lead this flop, 600-900 seems about right, it could be somewhat of a blocking bet, but it could take down the pot right here, and if he wants to raise he is going to bet quite a bit(and if he doesn't you can push over the top since you will still have some folding equity).

btw the hand is a ton more interesting when we talk about 76o. 76c is so strong that we should do everything possible to get allin on the flop with some fold equity. 76o isn't quite as strong.
