now this is actually funny.

I loved it when Chappelle went nuts with this one for a long time.

Pronounced like 'hinge' - it's a great word.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't think of any reason I would ever consider this a great word.

[/ QUOTE ]

Try saying it out loud, with real feeling and gusto when you get to the hard 'g' sound. Elongate the 'nnnn' in the middle too to get a real good go at it.

[/ QUOTE ]

hinge is pronounce with a soft G, so you really aren't making any sense.

Minge? Bollocks? I'm pretty sure the filter isn't set up to filter foreign languages so why are you bringing up all these British terms anyway?

Perhaps you mean English terms? Now what's that language we speak called again...?

Really? What sort of 'g' is used in 'wing' then?

I always thought a hard 'g' was in the words German, Germ, Giant etc, and the soft 'g' was in 'grape' or 'garter'.

I meant whatever 'g' is the same as in 'German', whichever that is. If you said 'German Minge' you'd be using the 'g' the same way both times.
