I ended up pushing and he folded. I think I should have called and pushed into his (hopefully) eventual bet on the flop since he was first to act. Thanks for the responses guys.

Yeah I guess I was too busy trying to figure out if he really had the wheel or what he was on.

I still can't believe he donked away a final table stack with high card Ace and a gutshot.
