I'd play this hand exactly the same way the original poster did. Unless I had a read on UTG which says he's passive and that he's not likely to bluff, in which case I fold the river. Otherwise, even though I think I'm beat on the river bet, I call anyway probably.

To me, the flop is a raise or fold situation. If you just call and SB bets again on the turn, now what do you do? If SB does 3-bet the flop, i re-evaluate the turn, but i'm probably check/folding. Let's define our hand on the cheap street (and start getting some money in the pot now if we happen to be best).

Also, if i'm in the SB, i'm not raising Ax preflop OOP with 4 limpers already in the pot.
