You may be confusing PokerAce with PokerEDGE, which was banned.

Party (at least for now) is cool with HUDs like PA and GT+.

Yeah, I was confusing pokeredge with my made-up piece of software 'pokerextreme.'

I 3-table and occasionally 4-table the 6-max using GT+. For some reason, it always seems more comfortable to me to get 3 tables going, get in a flow and get some reads, then add the 4th table after a few orbits. You might try doing the same going from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 depending on how you feel.

PokerAce shows the hole cards after each hand but I couldn't get used to looking at it after using GT+ for so long. It's gotta help you establish your reads though since there's no clicking involved to see them. Maybe it'll look better on my new 2001FP.

Bolded Arial 10pt.

The "global copy" feature makes it easy to find something you like.

My eyes would bug out just looking at one table with all those numbers on it.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. Once you play 3 or 4 tables, playing 1 will seem so slow. You really just have to progress to it. Add a table as you feel ready.

Also, poker ace is great. I have been using it for a month or two with no problems.

One more thing, since you have less time, its a good idea to take good notes. Put a quick note on someone when they bluff the river with K hi, or when they raise 57. Those kind of reads make a big difference when multi tabling.

I can play 4 or 5 tables of 6 max, so I know you can get to 2 or 3 pretty quickly.

I hate to do this to you guys, but how do you change the font and customize the colors and stuff?

I couldn't find it anywhere in the main window or the layout manager.

You rule.

(And I love the instant hand history thingy.)

Hi there. Best of luck with your multitabling adventure. Patience as in all other things poker.

Select the stat you want to start with in the layout manager drop down box. Directly to the right of the dropdown, past the "visible" check box (make sure it's checked if you intend to use that stat, by the way) is the "Font" stuff.

Click "change" to change font. Double click the coloured box next to "Text:" or "Back:" to change text or background colours. If you like what you see, you can apply it to all seats via edit-->global copy font. You can also designate "color ranges" for any stat.

I'm sure there are layouts floating around if you want to try out some options. Try the PA site or PM around a little.

Play two tables until you get comfortable, then three, etc...

Don't pay for playerview, use PokerAceHUD which is free.

I haven't read the thread so I apologize if this duplicates advice you've already received. Oh, and if someone has given different advice, they probably know more than me.
