If there is a chance to get it three handed preflop I 3-bet. That sounds like the case here.

MP2 is raising a wide range. And rocks limping preflop in early position pay attention to a preflop 3-bet.
If I have seen these players limp with AK, AQ or better then this is a different story.

Spending an extra small bet to see the flop here with position does not worry me at all.
