Re: Note Taking and Multi-Tabling, is it done?
[ QUOTE ]
taking extensive notes on basically every hand (perhaps 95%) [/ QUOTE ] are you serious? 3 people limp, BB checks, MP bets and takes it down on the flop. what's your note? can fold, can fold, can bet, can fold? folds to MP who steals. can raise, can fold? what else can you get out of that? |

Re: Note Taking and Multi-Tabling, is it done?

[ QUOTE ] Do you use PT/PokerAce? That's pretty much all the infomation I need right there. I've set up the ranges so I know right away, by the color of the number, how aggressive and loose a player is, as well as how often I've played against them. [/ QUOTE ] Which one do you recommend starting off with, PT or PokerAce? Also, can you have it "on" while you play, isn't it one of the appliences that Party/Empire have forbidden? Thanks... [/ QUOTE ] The answer to your first question is "yes." PokerAce is a heads-up display that shows you data that's been imported into your PT database. They are both excellent programs. PlayerView is another HUD that I actually bought, but I downloaded PokerAce for free and I like it better. As far as I know, both programs are well within "allowed" software. The developers of PT worked with Party when creating their program, so Party is well aware of them and has at least implicitly endorsed them. PokerAce just displays PT data, so there's no extra calculations happening that might be considered an unfair edge. |

Re: Note Taking and Multi-Tabling, is it done?

they cant forbid it cuz they will never know its there. it doesnt go into the servers for information or anything. [/ QUOTE ] You're running thier software on your computer so if they really wanted to they could figure it out. They could just take screen shots of your monitors and send the back to their servers for inspection. I'm not saying they do this, but they easily could if they wanted to. |
