It's total crap. No worthwhile discussion is ever generated from this collective railbirding.

If you are actually Phil Ivey, Spirit Rock, or an opponent, go ahead and post the hands.

If you are 8-tabling 0.10/0.25 NL and waiting for Mike Matasow to bluff off all of his chips to Layne Flack so you can post the hand and all the hilarious observer comments, kindly go ahead and kill yourself.

Mods, please lock all these lame threads.

While we're talking about annoying threads, I wish most of these "LAG" hand threads would die. The idea of starting serious lag offense and defense discussion is an excellent one. However, it appears that many posters here either have never played with a true good lag and likely do not really know what one is. Starting threads about 2/4 at party called "My Lag Hand" where you semi bluff all in on the flop with a flush draw or 4 barrel bluff with no read and no hope aren't really that helpful to fostering good discussion.

Please post them elsewhere, folks. Strategy is one thing; wanting to know who's winning and how much is strictly WPT-forum hero-worship-gossip BS.

Also, look the replies to this thread already - all saying no, these threads shouldn't be allowed.

Looks like the railbirds like to railbird polls too.

your subject line may skew the results as people who would vote no may not even read this post as they might think it is just another one of the said posts that they hate

Ok sometimes they're stupid but sometimes they can be interesting especially for people who arent going to spend their time watching other people play but dont mind reading about key hands.

Plus it's not the case that these hands can never generate discussion or that nothing can be learned from them.

IMO if we're going to try to eliminate certain types of posts from the forum we should start with the "how do I play top set here?" and "i have nut flush but theres a str8 flush possible!!!" posts.
