Canada has one good brewery and I would take Rogue, Stone or Dogfishhead over it anyday. [/ QUOTE ] What is Canada's one good brewery? From my excursions into the states i've noticed there are not much more than 2 or 3 Canadian beers that they actually sell and they're not the ones I would be referring to as good beers. The Canadian micro-breweries produce some gold. |

You clearly do not know anything about Canadian beer if you really think this. Try these: Sleeman Moosehead Alexander Keiths Those are three of the best I can come up with quickly. There's others. |

Which Molsen are you talking about Golden, or Canadian Lager. Neither are really all that good. If it is the Golden you like then this will blow it out of the water.... [/ QUOTE ] Oh I'm definitely not calling anything in this thread good. |

Awesome job! This poll is perfect - screw the haters. This thread is filled with idiots who assume that anything popular must suck. "Oooh, you like U2? They're the suck. They used to be good in 1978 at Mount Temple, but once they recorded their first track they blew goats. I like Fire Theft, but you can only get the cd by importanting it from Luxembourg." It's the same thing with beer. There are a bunch of morans on this site who are still trying to develop their personality and are scared to be too common. So they think that anything that sells more than 12 cases a year is uncool. Fact is, the beers in your poll are all bought by people who already have a personality - and it just so happens the beers in your poll are the best goddamn beers you can buy. Do you really want to be the dork in the bar who gets into a 20-minute discussion with the bar owner because they don't carry Heavyweight Balthus? Or do you want to be the guy who's throwing down pitchers of Keystone Light with the hot chicks at the corner table? My vote: ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Brilliant. |

It is like the difference in Dobra Vodka vs. Gray Goose. [/ QUOTE ] You need to pay closer attention to who you're replying to. |

The Honey Brown ale from Alex Keiths is good but is not even close to the Dogfishhead Brown Ale. Can't say about Sleemen I never heard of it so it could be good. Unibroue is obviously the best Canadian brewery with, La Fin Du Monde and Maudite being their best. Not sure if you have ever had any Rogue, Stone, Dogfishhead, Seirra Nevada, Avery, Founders, or New Belgium beers but all of those breweries offer more quality beers than any Canadian brewery I have ever tried. |
