Re: I hate my opponents
I am a trader at a large investment bank, so I have had some experience with dealing with losses and bad streaks. My advice is the following:
(1) Take a break from it, however long you need. Maybe it's a day, maybe it's a week, maybe it's a month. But step aside from it and dont think about it for some period of time (until you feel your mind is clear). (2) Ease your way back in, starting small. Play small for a while until you feel like you've re-established your rhythm and confidence. It will come back. Dont try to up your stakes too quickly. Be patient. The key is to get your mindset repaired. (3) once you feel more confident and you're winning regularly again, begin to take strides towards bigger betting. NEVER, EVER try to increase your bets when you're losing. That is almost always a recipe for going bust. |
