I would have to say Guru of all the big name artists. I actually think Immortal Technique has the best flow, voice and lyrics of any MC, but he doesn't have a lot of fame yet.

I HATE Immortal Technique. He performed at the Nas concert in Denver a couple of weeks ago; it was like hearing Osama bin Laden rap. I was astonished that anyone could hate America as much as he does (This is from only having seen him live once... Apparently he is not so vitriolic on his albums).

He does have very strong political views yes, and you are right that it is more toned down on his albums. Maybe the fact that I'm from Canada also makes me less offended by it.

[/ QUOTE ]you also forgot that he raps in the same exact style in every [censored] song he is in . After a while, he becomes very repetitive. I like his first two CD's, but that dude doesn't even make my top 20.

Of the guys you listed, my top ten includes Rakim, Em, Jay, Nas, KRS, and BIG. The rest of the guys aren't there, although Pac is close.
