I'm glad I posted this because apparently I suck at blind defense.

[/ QUOTE ]

no, you just have not learned the value of calling yet. its very apparent from your posts. however its easier to tone your game down, than it is to ratcet it up.

So what do I do? call and call down on a raggy board? Check-raise turn if an A flops/turns? This guy was a ridiculous LAG as it turns out, and he showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

*sigh* gonna go read more.

Edit: just found http://vindikation.com/poker/shorthanded.pdf

Good resource.

I have this bookmarked at work and is a very good read when I have some downtime.

Also, anyone care to discuss my thoughts on having position while out of position? Particularly, how can we compare the value of:
1.) 3-betting preflop and autobetting the ensuing flop because of the folding equity value
2.) Calling the raise and having position since we know villain will be autobetting the flop

Throw in some thoughts about the PF equity of raising better hands preflop, bake at 350 for 10 minutes, and we got a sweet discussion.

You should lead the river, if nothing else.

Default This is good.

I don't know if I'm the only one who hasn't seen this... but wow. This is pretty good stuff, even if you know most of it already. Print this puppy out and you have a book on shorthanded limit. Wish I had seen something like this when I was first starting...

I dont like the preflopreraise. If you have an equity edge, its not big and he can cap when he has a big pair or a dominating ace like AK.

Flop is different than a usual WA/WB situation because of the diamond draws. Probably best to check/call the flop and CR the turn.

you cant fold. he could be raising piece plus big diamond. i rarely 3-bet this out of the bb, but otherwise played ok.

i am a bit concerned that he raised u despite u 3-betting pre...but hu, and TP have to showdown.
