"Official" Live at the Bike thread (8/10)

Used to be they were maybe 5 min late, sometimes even 10. Now it seems like they're 15-20-25 min late almost every day. They went through some remodeling a couple weeks ago and have had trouble getting on time ever since then. In fact I can only remember one time they were on time since then.

Keep hoping it's temporary but what the hey?

Thanks for the reply, Bart. As you know from my previous posts over the last few months, always glad to hear from you as it increases the chances I won't have to hear Denny.

No worries, I was just wondering if I had some random computer glitch. Stuff happens and I'm sure it'll get swinging soon. While aggravating to me, I'm still going to be here all night plugging away on my computer so I'm a veritable captive audience here in the ghetto.

Yeh Kev, RE showing the card room floor or even the interviews, I think they run this ad 24x7 except when it's time for Live@. I think they just leave it running and I believe they really do expect to get out of the gate on time. Then something breaks and whoops they're in trouble again.

Then again, they could just plan on being a half hour late and run those interviews like you said.

The move to the new section of the casino has affected the start times, as well as most of the camera angles. The overhead angle has really been poor, since they cut off most of the people at the table. There's times when they get some good closeups, but it's one of those things where you wish they didn't change.

There seems to be some sort of technical issues going on that is causing them to be late, hopefully the real show will be on very shortly. Right now they seem to be in a state of persistent buffering, so hopefully this is progress.

And it's the overhead in the wrong direction, you can only see seats 5, 6 and the back of 9's head.
