I sincerely doubt the falcons would take brady over vick. I think the only QB they would consider is P Manning

[/ QUOTE ]

since when did the Atlanta Falcons' personnel choices become the barometer for NFL excellence? McKay isn't even this silly either.

He's top 10 for sure, likely top 5, but not the best.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree with this.

I agree with the top 10 probably, but not top 5.

exactly.

any team would make Vick a high pick, but not nec. b/c of how good he is now, but rather b/c of how how good he might be some day.

I mean that he might crack my top 10, but not by much.

I would love to see you list 9 QBs better than Vick. Even stretching it, I can only list 7.

He is too raw and undisciplined to run an NFL team efficiently. He overcomes a lot of that with his athletic ability, but he still has a long way to go.

[/ QUOTE ]

For all intensive purposes, he's played 2 seasons in the NFL, and had a completely different offensive set for each season.

what alot of people dont see is that vick makes so many clutch big plays because he only runs when he needs to. atlanta definitely upgraded their o- line last yr which explained some of their improvement. But the atlanta record when vick plays vs. when he does not is quite amazing. You people are annalyzing vick from an outdated perspective where you just see how good they are as dropback passers. The QB position could be so much more and vick proves that.

My prediction is D Culpepper is going to have a terrible yr. He is not very accurate and does not have the running skills of vick. he will no longer have moss to save him.

(not necessarily in order)

1) Peyton Manning
2) Daunte Culpepper
3) Donovan McNabb
4) Tom Brady
5) Trent Green
6) Mark Bulger
7) Jake Delhomme
8) Matt Hasselbeck
9) Carson Palmer
10) Brett Favre

These are guys I trust to be able to efficiently run an offense, read defenses, make sight adjustments, etc. Vick probably has more athletic ability than all of them, but he isn't ready mentally yet. FWIW, I am not entirely sure he will ever get there, but I will reserve judgement for another couple of years on that score.

BTW, it is 'intents and purposes'.

I know dude, 69 percent completion is not very accurate. He needs to step it up. And who does have the running skills of Vick? Oh, and he did just fine without Moss for those 5 games last year. You're an idiot if you think Daunte's going to have a "terrible" year.

Are you serious? The Falcon's wouldn't get above .500 with any of these guys at QB.

I didn't believe you, but so it is. Wow.

Add Pennington to this list.

And don't forget that Vick (like Chad) is missing at least two games every year.
