I mean there's a good chance your bet makes him fold, that's fold equity. Lots of people like to peel on flops like this, the pot's small so he's likely to let a lot of hands go, you have a bunch of outs if you don't currently have the best hand, you have to bet

Gotcha, I thought you were saying to bet/fold. This makes sense - your fold equity seems pretty high here as a lot of hands probably had a gutshot or overcards.
