[/ QUOTE ]

How can someone even say such a retarded thing. If anything i feel offended my tribe wasnt represented in your rip of JG Mellon clientel.

[/ QUOTE ]

I assume you're referring to Jews? Yeah, some go there. They're tolerated.

[/ QUOTE ]

Except on the high-holidays when meat/cheese is not tolerated but on a good night i can found at the bar with a guiness and cheeseburger.

[/ QUOTE ]

You would agree though that Melon's is an historically WASPy establishment though, right?

Hey, if you see a tall kid in a Jets hat, that's me. I'll be the drunk one three or four other loud, obnoxious mofos.

The burger at DB Bistro Modern[e] is TIGHT. But it's not a classic burger, so if you want the best burger in the classic American tradition, this isn't the place.

Time Out New York, New York Magazine and all those places have a "Best Burger" issue every so often, I could see if I could dig an old one up if you're interested.

Overrated. The Parker Meridien burger joint is good.

As an aside, inspired by the Peter Luger thread, I soon plan to eat at Tad's Broiled Steaks just to see what it is like.

I remember going to NYC several years ago (I think I was 15) and having an excellent burger at a place called Silver Spurs. Are these actually good or was that just youthful ignorance?

This will be construed as a vote for Option B.
