I remember hearing from a friend about this bet being discussed, and my first reaction was thinking why would anyone, however good, honestly give 2-1 on a bet like that. If even only the person taking the bet makes it a point to play as much as possible, and is a good player, then you're already on shaky ground. If several good players were to make it a point to try and win the month, now you're really "challenged".

How many players do you expect to try and put in as much time as you to win the month?

Doesn't matter, at stars, they take only the top 20 finishes.

As I said in that thread, good luck with this bet. So you are coming to the HU challenge... are you playing? Who did you buy your seat from?

Have you seen the calcutta website yet?

Ok, I'm vaguely familiar with the Stars point system since I know I've read info about it before, and since when I play tournies, they're usually on Stars. Obviously, if you expect to win the bet, then you expect your 20 points finishes to be better than anyone else's. I would still expect the key to this would be to play more than anyone else, or at least more than any other very good players. Unless you can just go win a few tournies anytime you want to.

Or unless you feel that you play in such a way that maximizes the points in your good finishes in a way that almost all other players who you expect could threaten you don't.

any chance you'd want to share your PS name? of course when you reach the top of the board, we'll know -- as a PS regular, i'd like to sit quietly on the rail sometime...

good luck 2u

(if it's common knowledge, maybe someone could share it with me)
