Re: Empire VIP club?
So what are the obvious reasons to play at another skin? I now play at empire because i get a really good rakeback % plus the vip points are fun to rack up. I want that tv!

Re: Empire VIP club?
I've found that high buy-in rebuy tournaments are some of the best opportunities out there. Most players don't rebuy and don't add-on. A player who is willing to do both has a big advantage. Granted it comes at a cost, but I think it's absolutely worth it.

Dude, the tv retails for $400.
And the points really don't rack up. Unless you play MTTs. |

Re: Empire VIP club?
i have enjoyed the longer structure of the tourneys as well because I feel it exaggerates my advantage over the sucky and mediocre players...plus, it always tends to put 2 or 3 players on monkey-tilt when it goes to hand-for-hand right at the very beginning.
so IF you are a patient type and not prone to tilt that is an extra advantage. if you are the type to say "this structure sucks...why do they do this?" and get so frustrated that it effects your play then you best stay away from them. in other words, you have to be willing, and almost happy, to wait a full minute or longer between hands (i say 'happy' because if you are the LEAST bit annoyed then the hand-for-hand WILL drive you crazy sooner or later). |

Re: Empire VIP club?
the points rack up fairly quickly. I'll have a trip to vegas in about 12 months of playing SnGs. Thats better than the NOTHING I have found elsewhere. Which is why I was asking where to go, I was not asking for a response on why it sucks. Thanks.
