It may be useful to add comments like "multi-tabling regular" or "regular who also plays Pokerstars 1/2" or whatever so that someone who has played a lot with the opponent might know who it is and add whatever info they have without making the name obvious to all who are reading the thread. Just a suggestion.

i like the idea of using someone's screenname, but only if you use the screen name and not their real name or 2p2 name.

like your title is "100/200 vs paluka"
and then in your post you show the sn... that would be bad.

I think if bad players hear they're being talked about on 2+2 where their play is picked appart they'll feel conspired against and that wouldn't be good.

Also, most responders don't know these names or would just look them up on their PT.

Many times when I see someone has posted a hand in a game I play in I PM them asking the name of the opponent before responding. Why can't people who want names just do that?

[ QUOTE ]
My argument is that Party has made it pretty clear they don't like player info being publicly accessible (with their stance against pokeredge or whatever it is). There isn't much difference between publicly accessible databases and publicly listing a player's stats.

Party has seemed to tolerate thusfar the mining of HHs.

[/ QUOTE ]

Party has always been contradicting themselves with the measurements they take to prevent unfair advantages.

The simplest measure would be to elminate any hands from d/l onto a player's computer that they are not involved in from the start. All observed hand histories cannot be downloaded either. This would highly eliminate any unnessary unfair advantages a player would have using any statistical/artificial intelligence program available.

As for using names, I have no problem against that. It does not add to any line that has not already been crossed IMHO.
