is 4-5 bb/100 a realistic goal?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, here is a very good read

In my opinion, if you are around 3BB in the long run, there is lots of room for you to improve.

You can run at 8 BB/100 for well over 10K. I ran for 30K at 7.2BB/100 on Party .5/1.

But you need some super duper table selection to maximize it that high.

How many hands do you play per day? I tried 3-tabling but I really can't concentrate. I am playing 2-tables and it takes foerever to play a thousand hands a day. I think I might reconcider playing 500-600 hands/day.

I used to do the same thing but I started playing 2 tables at 0.5/1 and 1 table of 1/2, paying a bit more attention to the 1/2 table.

I say move up. At .5/1, the money is kind of insignificant if you're looking at the amount you're making per hour. At 1/2, the money starts to become a lot more significant because it's easy to clear bonuses. It's pretty easy to make $20 / hour at 1/2 if you judiciously clear bonuses and can play 3-4 tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

Except if he's not a winning player, he might lose money at 1/2 even trying to clear bonuses...

Btw, I read how guys 8table at once etc... I am allowed to open up 4 tables at once, more is not an option. Any way around this without buying additional PC?

Having experience with PS I can safely say that 8 tables at once is a perfect maximum for micro limits.

8 table is maximum? There are people who do 12 or 16. You can play 2 skins at the same time.
