[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] That way I could UNDERSTAND why that Jean-Robere guy was asking "Why would you raise to 24K?". As it stands, I have no idea if he means it's a LARGE raise or a SMALL raise. [/ QUOTE ] Before that hand they said blinds were 3k/6k. He bet 4x the big blind. [/ QUOTE ] Pretty sure blinds were 6K-12K at this point. Bellande made a point that if Lee kept raising to 24K he'd call every time with any two cards. [/ QUOTE ] Blinds were 6/12. Normad Chad even points out that it is only twice the big blind. Plus they put a graphic on the screen right before that. Also ESPN does display the Pot Size however it is not there all the time. It usually shows up after a bet is made or called. |

Regardless, their poker coverage is far inferior to the WPT. I think we can all agree.

[ QUOTE ]
You may get your wish next year, since the ME will probably start at the Rio mid-August [/ QUOTE ] I thought the idea of running the ME in June/July was to try and line up the final table with the day after the All-Star Game. So that way Harrah's could have a chance to get a new TV contract that could get them live coverage of the final table of the ME. Or did ESPN sign a new deal and decided not to run a live final table? |
