What if your opponents stacked their cards directly on top of each other? So like, the numbers would blend together. And you would think they had an 8, but really it was a 0 and 4 stuck together. Weird.

Dude.

Also, we need to take into account the mathematical effect of you being able to see the top card of the deck (the burn card before the next street) so you could take that into account when calculating your pot equity and you're opponents hand range.

you also have to figure in the fact that you might be really distracted because you'll look around and you'll see a bunch of schlongs

Guys even if you couldn't see the next card to flop, surely you would be 99% sure that you woudl win the whole thing. Jeez just don't put all your stack on the line (without the nuts), build it up in the first few rounds, and your laughing. Expolit your edges, get a chip lead and the bracelet is yours.

By the way though, you'd make more money if you marketed the glasses.

Exactly. If you didn't win the tournament with this x-ray power, you don't know how to play NL hold em, its just that simple.

Assuming no one at the table knew she had XRay specs, I'd say an average player would win 90-95% of the time -- maybe more.

The whole thing comes down to how long it takes you to build a monster stack.

All you really have to do is avoid 'all-ins' or crippling hands early on. After 5-6 hours, you should be able to build a monster stack so that you don't have to worry about any one else sucking out all-in and killing you.

From there on in, just play the percentages.

to me it seems fairly simple - try to get every hand to the river, where you know if you win or lose - then make your big bets, call bluffs, and fold when your behind

don't make BIG calls or bets if there is ANY chance you'd get sucked out on the earlier streets

100% chance to win - if played right
