Wow that is a crazy check. Ted fears that Daniel has the case 6? Yikes.

I'm not too excited about Howard's explanation either. Why not bet SOMETHING in case he has the case ace? Did Daniel's reaction really look like the reaction you get when you river quads?

Thanks I caught that.

WTF?!?!?!?! Why did Ted Forrest check his aces full there? (AA vs. AQ on 664A6 board)

No kidding. I can't think of any hand containing a 6 that calls D'Agostino's preflop all-in (which was pretty large compared to the blinds). Forrest has to know his boat is good.

How could Ted possibly check aces full there?? He should at least value bet small. The check looks like softplaying.

Why are the commentators giving Ted a pass?

Yes, that is one of the worst checks I have ever seen. There is no hand that contains a six that Danny calls with there after Ted ALREADY called all in.

Why Howard is saying it's a "reasonable check" is so far beyond me right now. Howard might want to tell us what hand that contains a six that Danny would have been calling with pre flop in that situation.

As Josh A. would say... "That's rediculous!!!!"

I don't know, but it's true what Howard said about Forrest's read. Daniel had to have either the case ace or the case six there to make his turn bet, due to D'agastino being all-in. Still, he should've figured it wouldn't be the 6.

I think this is right on the money - especially since Ted already flat called Dags's all-in before Daniel overcalled. To make matters worse, Ted CLEARLY wasn't paying attention to Daniel's table chatter right before Ted checked - Daniel essentially told Ted that he thinks they have the same hand (i.e. sixes full of aces) and that he shouldn't try bluffing all-in.

Ted blew it. Next case (kidding).

Default Hellmuth tantrum?

Did anyone catch what happened in the opening montage of play previous to air time?

It appeared that DN busted Hellmuth, who then threw his cards across the table at DN's stack as DN laughed gleefully and Hellmuth stomped off.

I think that's what I saw but I wasn't paying full attention at the time.

Anyone get a better take on that?

That's what it looked like to me. Phil threw his cards at or near Daniel and at least one of them flew off the table. Daniel was in the 1 seat and the one card went between Daniel and the dealer.
