Looks like bicyclekick is 4-tabling 50/100 and 100/200.

I hope they restrict it to 2 tables for each limit. They should also get rid of the observer chat.

I refuse to play these unless Empire or Eurobet get them, or the rake gets reduced to $3 on Party. I'm not going to play a game that charges $5 a pot when I'm not receiving rakeback.

So is this good news or bad news?

From Party's perspective, I can see what they're doing. There are three aspects to their strategy:

1) External competition: they're obviously hoping to take market share away from UB, Paradise, Stars, and other places offering games above 30/60.

2) Internal competition: Party is finding itself having to compete more with its own skins. Players are leaving Party for Eurobet because of rakeback and Eurobet's less draconian policies. So Party first added jackpot games and now these high-limit games to try to woo those players back.

3) Revenues: Obviously, increased market share (whether with respect to UB or with respect to Eurobet) means higher revenues. But Party also increased the rake on these games from $3 to $5. So now they won't be in this situation of lower limit games generating more rake in absolute dollar amounts than higher limit games (for an example of this, see my post in Tommy Angelo's thread on Internet rake).

But from the players' perspective, I'm not sure if this change is good. For now, it seems that Party is keeping both of the new games to 2 tables each, and I welcome that. But I also see one of my favorite fish playing the 100/200 against some good players. He'll get absolutely killed. That's not good.

rake is ridiculous, especially if its only going to be for party where i get no rakeback.

if they open up unlimited games and the games are especially Party-like, I'd play, but for now it doesn't seem all that worth it considering the other alternatives.

Yes, but observers still harass the donks even if I see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.
