My brother did call me a "rich playboy, with way too much money for your own good" the other day (he hasn't met GoT yet), so I think this will be good just to push in his face. New York... mmmm.... Might be crashing this event...

Well [censored], I'm definitely not cool.
Might show up anyways, since I can get a flight to NYC on Friday and then back to SJC on sometime Tues-Thurs for about $350 total. Seems pretty decent since I payed $250 RT from SJC to Vegas (and to think I was bitchin about the cost of the plan ticket, then dropped $3k+ on a weekend in vegas). Never been to NY before so I really want to go now that I found an excuse. Is LeGuardia where I should be flying into? If I actually lived in LA I could get a sweet deal R/T from LAX to JFK for like $250. Too bad I can't fly back to LA. We'll see how this pans out.

Looking forward to seeing you again. You can also consider Newark Airport, during non-peak hours its the fastest way to get to Manhattan. Thats the cool thing about NYC, we have 3 international airports. Woo hoo! If you need help finding a hotel let me know.
If your coming from La Guardia take a bus to NYC for something like $16. From Newark or JFK take the Air Trains, they are very efficient but you will probably have to stop to ask for help because they are a bit confusing the first time around. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Best deal vs quality I found was at the Hyatt Regency, $150/night. Its located cross the water in Jersey City (where I live), just 5 mins from the World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan.
