I don't see everybody running to his defense.

Re: Worst river ever, call small bet in big pot?
with respect to posting in this forum or the other:
the point of this forum is to discuss hands played at very high stakes against skilled players. your post contains niether. yeah, some people hold to the >$4BB etc. but that's just silly. if you're too good for SSNL, fine, but you're obviously not good enough for MH, so dont post the hand here (your turn play is a good example). know what? there are some really good posters in SSNL who are really good about playing really bad players. anti-donk advice isn't really given in MH, so when i play a hand against someone with massive flaws in their game, i post it in SSNL. when i'm playing against someone good and the money justifies it, I'll post it here. I guess the thing that disappoints me is that "the responses are better here" is a justification to you to break code and put your wants above others. the advice may be better here, but that's because the players who post here are better players and have made themselves better by working their way up. given your post and tone, i can say for sure that SSNL will have more than adequate advice for any queries you might have. fim |

Re: Thank yuo Doomslice
while on the topic of interesting observations:
the texas A&M logo sports the same acronym used in the porn industry for "ass to mouth" seems strangely relevant here. fim |

Not an easy fold but what you do here is simple. You sit on your hands and wait until time expires cause god knows it would hurt folding there.

Re: Worst river ever, call small bet in big pot?
allin the turn you goof, or bet MORE than l/4 pot. Mkae him pay to draw to the nut flush (he won't pay off K hi on the river, but will gladly draw to it). If he has the ace, you're gonna stack him regardless probably.
