In the money in my first event!! (other WSOP impresions) very long

Yeah - I kind of know...but explained anyway as is my wont I suppose.
I'm in Vegas...my judgement is a bit screwed-up.

As posted on my blog....sitting between Tom McEvoy and Huck Seed for a few hours is NOT my idea of an easy table.
I survived for quite awhile in the $3k event.....busted out around 200th out of 1010.
Top 100 paid...getting their $3k entry-fee back. First place is $650k or so.

I was short-stacked all day long but hung in there. Hard to bow out of the tourney when you get dealt 73o over and over and over again.

Fun experience....but for the main-event I would prefer to NOT be seated in-between 2 WSOP champs UNTIL I make it into the money.

The walk THROUGH the Rio all the way to the tourney-room in the back is, indeed, very long as advertised.


what about the suggestions that i take a cab from gold coast to rio convention center? is that a valid fare, or is it just going to piss off the cabbie?
