Re: where can i find the best pro\'s?
This is pretty weird.
Ive never understand how Prahland sits there with 100K infront of him for hours on end and no one challlenges him or sits with him. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Or do they play lower stakes for the easy money? [/ QUOTE ] Most of the top pros like Lederer, Doyle, Greenstein, Farha, etc. multi-table 3-6 to 15-30 limit hold'em games when playing online because they can play so many tables and make easy money. Kind of strange when you think about the stakes they play for live, but it is easy money for them with no risk, so they play a ton of tables at the lower limits when online. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: where can i find the best pro\'s?
Seriously though, where are all the pro's? Online pro's, Huge rich suckers, they have to be playing the smaller stakes. I know the wsop is going on right now, but is there really that few of high stakes players in the world?
Am i not looking at the right time? Is there a site other than UB and Prima skins that has high stakes? |

Because he beats them maybe? I think the best players in the world are found online, not live

Re: where can i find the best pro\'s?
Anyone have any idea of Mahatma/Prahlad's win rate? Given the huge stack he always seems to have, I thought he was making a complete killing. But, then I noticed how many time he rebuys -- as soon as his stack dips below the max buy-in (10K), he immediately adds more to make it the max. I've seen sessions where he drops quite a lot.
Speaking of which, anyone know how to do that auto-rebuy thing he does? |

Re: where can i find the best pro\'s?
he definately must have some eye popping downswings, I've seen him go all in against much aggression with hands like a pair of Q's K kicker, i've seen him make obvious bluffs for $4k+, then that famous hand where he CALLED not bluffed, he called a $12k allin with A high, and an inside straight draw with ONE card to come. He hit the straight, and the other guy turned over KK, pissed as hell. Muhatma said in his defense, " wow, you should have won that " - " i made a bad read " crazy. With that kind of variance he must have a tremendous amount of confidence in his stratagy, i'd curl up in a ball mumbeling to myself if i had to put up with ~$100+k swings just to play according to my strategy.
But it figures that the best online player is a huge suckout LAG. |

Re: where can i find the best pro\'s?
ha ha - very funny - lol - rofl - lmao, etc, etc, etc.
Seriously, unless Mahatma has bionic fingers or six arms, it's hard to believe that he can reload that fast manually (especially given that he seems to do it while playing three simultaneous heads up matches). Literally as soon as he dips below the max buy-in, he instantaneously rebuys to get back to the max. Perhaps there's a way to keep the "get chips" window open or some way to instruct UB to do an auto-reload to the max each time? If anyone actually knows whether there's a short-cut he might be employing, I'd be very curious to find out what it is. |
