Re: is this wrong??
So the mgr really meant "sin to the store"? I don't think that's possible, is it?
Go buy a Deicide record, hijack a truckload of Malboro, and sell them yourself at 1/2 price. F the store, it's a Mc job. While you're at it, clean out the register. (ps: they might fire you - who cares) |

Re: is this wrong??
that's ridiculous and you know it.
Your job at that store is to achieve the bottom line, not be a follower of God. =) |

Re: is this wrong??
hits the nail on the head IMO. Not morally wrong but you did not operate within the store's best interest which you should try to do within reason.

[ QUOTE ]
our store has a creed. 1. 1) We believe that faith in God gives us strength and stability. Our leaders are christians and we are run by christian values.. Its morally wrong to be dishonest and keep things from others. I think i was displaying good christian values by being honest and thinking about the customers well being.. maybe im just talking out of my @ss but is this an argument? [/ QUOTE ] Wow. Your manager is an idiot if he thinks this is "sin." What you did was wrong in that you're not helping your store make money, but it certainly isn't sin. In fact, if you were to lie to customers, it would be sin, though it's right with the store. |
