HEll no.
THe best line after a suckout: 1-2 pot game at the B&M Raised to 7 preflop with 4 callers. Flop A Q T rainbow Player 1 bets $20, Player 2 raises Pot, all fold to player 1, who ReRaises Pot, Player 2 ReRaises Pot (we're at like ~$130 bet here), and then Player 1 goes all in for an additional $50. Player 2 calls and shows KJs for the nuts. Player 1 had AA. Turn is a 9 and river is a Q for the suckout, which of course isn't such an insane suckout but the line is just unforgettable. Player 1 looks at player 2 while stacking his chips, gives him a nod and says totally honestly: 'good call there, good call'. Player 1 racked up and left maybe 20minutes later. |

My friend does this. He's a very serious player who minds his own business but if someone berates him after sucking out he looks at the guy, shrugs his shoulders and says "I'm an idiot".

Guy flops a set on me, i have AA, go all in on flop..river an ace to beat him. Huge pot..one guy goes..be very aware of the 2 outer...i say.."he hit his 2 outer..then i hit mine..sounds fair to me". After that the whole table thought i was a fish.

One of my favorites is when a guy slowplays to try to trap you, and you end up turning the tables on him. I was playing with a guy last night I had 99, he had 88. Flop comes 10 10 8. He checks the flop and the turn. River is a 9. I bet the pot, he raises, I reraise....he makes yet another raise, at this point i start giving him credit for 10 9 or 10 8 or something, so I just call. We both flip our cards and I throw out my favorite "nice slowplay"

Not so sure if this belongs here or not, but what the hey:
Live MTT ($30+5). UTG raises pre-flop with A5, gets 2 callers, one of which has A9s ([img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) Flop comes 532 with two [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]s. UTG bets out, 1 fold, A9s calls. Turn comes with the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG pushes all-in, guy with flush calls and turns up his cards. UTG flashes his cards to me and a couple of others before throwing them into the muck before anyone can say anything. He then realizes what he did and says to the dealer: "No 5!" Of course, the dealer delivers him a 5 on the river for a full house. UTG picks up his cards from the muck, shows the rest of the table what he did before walking off talking to himself about how stupid that was. Comment to flush guy: "You had the worst hand at the river, had another player all-in and still managed to win the hand." |
