I gotta say, I think Gris & sthief are right on the money here. You only need a tiny amount of free showdown equity to make up for the few outs you lack. Equate every 3% of the time he has a worse hand he'll check behind with to 1 out.

Also, a pair of jacks could easily be good too, and so I'm not checkfolding the river if it's a jack (bet/fold or check/call both have advantages).

So yeah, well played BN.

(3% comes from 100/45 = 2.22%, the value of an out, but then he's going to bet some rivers when he hits something, so bump it to 3)
