Re: Michael Davis A6s Live at the Bike Hand
[ QUOTE ]
Whoah... They're televising cash games now? ('Cause I'd totally watch that.) Who is Michael Davis (I watch like a half hour of history or science shows per day, and that's about it)? I recognize the name but have no idea where... ... was he in my 10th grade English class? [/ QUOTE ] Check out the WPT forum for the 'live at the bike threads'. The bike is streaming it on their website for 4 hours a night. |

Re: Michael Davis A6s Live at the Bike Hand
[ QUOTE ]
If a player who plays live regularly calls the turn, he usually isn't calling to improve by the river. He's usually calling because he has you beat. This is of course player dependant. [/ QUOTE ] James is acknowledged as one of the best and the most important part of what he said is the last line. Strong live players don't always buckle at a flop c/r there with AQ and many times firing the river bullet is the only way to win the pot from them. It enhances the meta-game aspect when you show your will on bluffs. It can take a few bets. River play there is player dependant. Against the wrong opponent it's spewing. |
