Re: I owe Party Poker... what can they do to me?
Maybe they will send Tony to your home to collect for "medical bills."
Nothing like ripping off the mob. They will find you. |

Can this give you bad credit, if they report you? [/ QUOTE ] I think saying party is quasi-legal is being generous... party has no power over you in the U.S. This isn't AT&T we're talking about. On a related note, anybody notice the "this is not a gambling site" on the party commercials? Someone tell me what that's all about? |

[/ QUOTE ] If you noticed they are advertising for partypoker.net, a play money only site, not partypoker.com, a real&play money site. Something about the govt not allowing ads for gambling websites on TV, so alot of the poker sites are advertising for their play money sites. |

Re: I owe Party Poker... what can they do to me?
actually, they probably can't do anything to you. They don't have your social security number so they can't hurt your credit, and if it's a small amount, they'd have to sue you in small claims court wherever you live, which isn't going to happen. You could have an criminal issue with a hot check though, because that's essentially what we are talking about here.

Re: I owe Party Poker... what can they do to me?
The main problem is you wont be able to use paypro until you have paid the balance. Also you wont be able to have the instant credit anymore until you have been a good payer for a while. Paypro is a check processor I am sure they would have no problem reporting your non payment to chex systems or some other checking account watch dog service. I also think you would be surprised at how they collect debts. Dont be shocked if you dont pay and all of the sudden you get a letter from a collection agency.
