Re: Where to play 2/4 limit? Party, Absolute or UB?
I just recently ventured back to Party 2/4 and the games are so shitty it's unbelievable. They aren't the games of 2003 or early 2004 they are tightttttttt. Yes they have weakies but never more than 2 on a table unless you want to play at midnight EST........

Re: Where to play 2/4 limit? Party, Absolute or UB?
I will try out Pacific in the next days and post a "trip report"
I ventured back yesterday to 0.5/1.0 at Party and the games were easily beatable but table vpip was between 20% and 30%. Is that a common thing at Party now? |

Does Party\'s softness really make up the difference?
Yeah, this is something I've wondered about as well.
"At Empire I get 25% rakeback, which would give me $2.25/100 hands or 0.56BB/100 At Absolute I get 25% rakeback, which would give me $2.5+$5(bonus)=$7.5/100 or 1.88BB/100" Is the softness at Party skins really able to make up that 1.32BB/100 (1.88BB/100 - .56BB/100) difference? (I realize here that I'm not taking into consideration the monthly bonus you'd get at Empire, but that bonus counts against your MGR and doesn't dramatically affect the overall BB/100 of a player grinding out 25k+ hands a month). Thanks, Chris |
